Probisearch participated in the 2017 VIII Workshop from the Spanish Association of Probiotics and Prebiotics

Probisearch presented an oral communication in the VIII Workshop from the Spanish Society of Probiotics and Prebiotics in Santiago de Compostela on 23 – 24 February 2017.
Leading experts from Spain and other countries presented some 100 scientific communications, including talks on the potential benefits for the mother’s and the baby’s health associated with the administration of probiotics before, during and after pregnancy. In this context, Cristina García, a researcher at Probisearch, summarized an interventional randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel group trial with 221 healthy full-term infants aged 3 to 12 months. The clinical trial conducted by Probisearch evaluated the safety and tolerability of three probiotic strains owned by multinational company Lallemand.
